Introduction
These terms and conditions, as may be revised from time to time, are relevant to all our services directly or indirectly (through hotel providers) made available online, through any PC, laptop, desktop, mobile device. By accessing and using our (mobile) website and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
Making a reservation using our service, you acknowledge that you have accepted these terms and conditions and are entering into a legal relationship.
The relationship that we have with the Hotel Providers are ruled by separate terms and conditions, which govern the (B2B) commercial relationship we have with each of the Hotel Providers. Please note that the Hotel Providers may have, declare applicable and/or require (acceptance of) –additionally to the policies as exposed on the website, their own terms and conditions for the use, access and consummation of the Reservation (which may include certain disclaimers and limitations of liability).
Definitions
“mono.travel”, “us”, “we” or “our / our / our / ours” means the online hotel reservation system mono.travel, the fast-growing European company, which is a private limited liability company, incorporated under the laws of Estonia. Registry code: 16022015. The system allows users of our site select and make online reservations of apartments. The hotel information posted by us is based on the information provided to us by the hotels. We do our best to ensure the accuracy of the information on the site, but we cannot guarantee its reliability, completeness, or relevance. References to “you” or “your / your / your / yours” refer to you, our customers.
“Site” – means the (mobile) site on which the Booking Service is provided and which mono.travel owns, controls, manages, maintains and/or hosts data. “Accommodation Type” means a number of different travel products and services that can be ordered, purchased, paid for, rented, provided, booked, combined or arranged with the Hotel Provider.
“Hotel Provider” – means a professional provider of accommodation products and services, as well as any other travel or related products and services that are available from time to time for Booking on the Site (B2B or B2C).
“Booking Service” – means an online purchase, order, payment (payment processing) or reservation offered by mono.travel for products and services periodically provided by Hotel Providers on the site.
“Reservation” – means an independent order, purchase, payment or reservation of any type of accommodation.
“Chargeback” – refund of funds for a previously conducted payment transaction initiated by the cardholder / card issuer / payment organization of the payment system due to non-fulfillment / improper fulfillment of obligations by the enterprise in accordance with the rules of the relevant payment system.
“Refund” – the operation initiated by the Company, carried out after debiting funds from the Cardholder’s card account in the event of the latter’s refusal to receive the service or their return, in accordance with the tariff and reservation conditions.
“Force Majeure Events” – means events over which parties of these Terms & Conditions has no control, such as fire, earthquake, flood, substantial snowstorm, abnormal weather conditions, epidemic, explosions, strikes, riot, civil disturbance, lockout or industrial dispute or governmental or regulatory authority action, war, act of God, power cuts and communication network failures, and etc.
Scope and nature of our Service
On our Site, we provide an online system through which visitors of the Site can learn about them, find, compare, order, reserve, buy or pay for them (i.e. the Booking Service). By using the Reservation Service (in particular, making a reservation through the Reservation Service), you enter direct (legally binding) contractual relations with the Hotel Provider with whom you make a reservation.
From the moment you make a Booking, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the Hotel Provider, passing on the details of your Booking to the relevant Hotel Provider(s) and sending you an electronic confirmation on behalf of the Hotel Provider. Mono.travel does not resell, rent, or offer any (travel) products, goods or services.
When providing online hotel booking services, we use the information provided to us by the Hotel Provider. Although we take great care in the quality of the information we use, we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or correctness, nor are we responsible for any errors (including obvious errors and typographical errors), failures (caused by (temporary and/or partial) malfunction, improvement or maintenance of our Site or for other reasons), inaccurate, unreliable or erroneous information or failure to provide information. Each Hotel Provider is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the information (including tariffs / fees / prices, rules, conditions and availability of rooms) displayed on our Site.
Prices and We Price Match
Relevant fees and taxes (including tourist / city tax) may be charged by the Hotel Provider in case of no-show or cancellation of the reservation.
All prices on the mono.travel website are per room for the period of your stay, unless otherwise stated. Prices may be changed by the Hotel Provider. We only display the price received from the Hotel Provider for the room on the dates you have selected. Please read the room reservation details for what is included and what is not.
Sometimes lower rates are provided on our Site for a certain period of stay, but such rates offered by the Hotel Provider may have special restrictions and conditions, for example, there is no possibility of cancellation and refund. Please read the relevant terms and conditions and booking details carefully and taken into account the existence of such terms before making a booking.
The currency converter is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered accurate and up to date; actual prices may vary.
Apparent errors (including typographical errors) are not legally binding.
All special offers and promotions are marked accordingly. If there is no corresponding mark, you cannot claim any rights in case of obvious mistake.
Credit card or bank transfer
Payment is made from your debit/credit card or bank account to our bank account securely through a third-party payment system. The funds debited by us for hotel services are transferred to Ofkrant’s account and are a payment (part) of the cost of the product or service booked by you and are considered in the final calculation. The payment made is non-refundable.
Pre-payment, cancellation and no-show
By making a Booking with a Hotel Provider, you agree to the Hotel Provider’s cancellation policy and no-show policies, as well as any additional terms and conditions of the Hotel Provider that may apply to your Accommodation Type, including that related to services and products provided by the Hotel Provider. These (delivery / purchase / use / carriage) terms and conditions can be obtained from the relevant Hotel Provider. General rules for cancellation of reservations and non-arrivals of each Hotel Provider are available on our Website on the Hotel Provider page, during the booking process and in the electronic confirmation of the reservation. Please note that some rates, fees, or special offers are not subject to cancellation, refund or change. Please read the reservation details carefully and consider these conditions before making a reservation. Also, please note that Bookings that require a deposit or advance payment (in full or in part) may be cancelled (without prior notification or warning) if the relevant (remaining payment) amount(s) is not paid by the client in in full on the relevant date or payment date in accordance with the rules of the Hotel providers. Cancellation and prepayment policies may change according to the segment, product or service of each Accommodation Type.
If you wish to review, change or cancel your Booking, please review your Booking Confirmation email again and follow the instructions in it. Please note that you may be charged for cancellations in accordance with the Hotel Provider’s cancellation policy, as well as for (pre-)payment and no-shows, and you will not be entitled to a refund of any ( prepaid amount. We recommend that you carefully familiarize yourself with the rules of cancellation, (pre-)payment and no-show before making a reservation and make future payments in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of the relevant reservation.
If on the day of check-in you are late, arrive late or only the next day, discuss this with the Hotel Provider in good time so that they know when to expect you, this will help to avoid cancellation of your Accommodation Type (Reservation) and no-show penalty. If necessary, our support service will help you contact the Hotel Provider. Mono.travel is not responsible for the consequences of your late check-in, as well as the cancellation of the reservation or the no-show penalty charged by the Hotel Provider.
Chargeback
Is carried out in the event that customers have sufficient evidence of non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment by the enterprise of its obligations under the agreement. The grounds, procedures and procedure for carrying out such operations are established by the rules of the relevant payment systems, agreed upon in the prescribed manner. The merchant “Mono Travel” is responsible to cardholder for a refund in case the service provider fails to fulfill its obligations.
Reasons for which a chargeback may be initiated:
- fraudulent operation – payment from the card that the card owner did not make;
- the seller did not issue a refund for the goods;
- the card was debited twice;
- an amount different from the purchase amount was debited from the card;
- the date and time of the operation are incorrect;
- money was debited from the account, but the buyer did not receive the goods or services;
- not providing the service in full.
According to the rules of payment systems, in the case of chargebacks, the merchant “Mono Travel” carries out a refund, since the means of payment are received in his favor. If the chargeback does not refer to a fraudulent transaction, and it is possible to cancel the agreement between the seller and the buyer, then can be applied a refund.
Correspondence and communication
By completing your Booking, you agree to receive:
• e-mail confirming the reservation;
• a reminder e-mail about an incomplete reservation, if you have not completed the reservation process;
The mono.travel company does not bear any responsibility for the exchange of messages from the party or with the Hotel providers, which is carried out on or with the help of its site. Mono.travel cannot guarantee that the request or message will be received/read, fulfilled or accepted by the Hotel Provider.
You must enter a valid email address to complete and guarantee your Booking. We are not responsible for (and have no obligation to verify) any incorrect or misspelled email address or incorrect (mobile) phone number or credit card number.
Any claims or complaints regarding mono.travel or the Booking Service must be submitted in a timely manner, but no later than 30 days after the end of the reservation (for example, check-in date). Any claims or complaints submitted after the 30-day period may be rejected and the party making the claim will be denied any compensation (for damages or costs)
Disclaimer
Mono.travel is an online travel platform. We work with many hotel providers, however mono.travel is not the official website of any hotel, apartment, hostel or any other type of accommodation. We are not responsible for the facilities offered by any hotel, apartment, hostel, etc., which may be temporarily unavailable, cancelled or changed by the accommodation owners. Mono.travel does not control and does not influence repairs or any other types of maintenance carried out by the owners of the apartments.
When providing online hotel booking services, we use the information provided to us by the Hotel Provider. Mono.travel does not guarantee the accuracy of the information presented on the site and reserves the right to change the information provided at any time without prior notice. Although we carefully monitor the quality of the information used, we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness or correctness, and we are not responsible for any errors (including obvious errors and typographical errors), failures (caused by (temporary and/or partial) breakdown, repair, improvement or maintenance of our Site or for other reasons), inaccurate, unreliable or erroneous information or failure to provide information. Mono.travel is not responsible if the information on the site does not meet the user’s expectations.
All information, software, products and services available on this site may contain inaccuracies or errors, including errors in stated prices. In particular, Mono.travel cannot guarantee the accuracy and is not responsible for any errors or inconsistencies in the provision of information and descriptions of accommodation types on this site (including prices, photographs, list of hotel amenities, general product information, etc.). d.).
We are not responsible for any posted materials (photos / reviews / comments) or your posts. We are under no obligation to publish your comments; we reserve the right to decide which comments will be published on the site. By uploading photos / images to our system (for example, in addition to a review), you confirm that you are the owner of the copyright to the photos / images and that Mono.travel use the uploaded photos / images on its site. By uploading these photos / images, the person uploading the photo(s) assumes full legal and moral responsibility for all claims of a legal nature by third parties (including, but not limited to, the owner of the type of placement) in connection with the postings and Mono.travel use of these photos/images. The Mono.travel company is not responsible and liable for posted photos/images. At the same time, we are not responsible for the use of your photos and comments left on them by third parties. Mono.travel is not responsible for the authenticity and validity of all images and published reviews on the site. The person who uploaded the photo guarantees that the photos / images do not contain viruses, trojan programs or files infected with viruses, and do not contain any pornographic, illegal, offensive, unacceptable or inappropriate material and do not violate the rights of third parties (intellectual property rights, copyright or right to privacy). Any photos / images that do not meet the above criteria will not be published and / or may be deleted by Mono.travel at any time and without prior notice.
Mono.travel is not responsible for the remittance, collection, withholding or payment of the relevant taxes included in the price (travel) to the relevant tax authorities. Mono.travel does not sell information about products or services available on the Platform.
Group Bookings
MonoTravel.ua does not provide a group booking service. You cannot book more than 1 room in one booking online. If you book a total of more than 1 room in separate orders, the Hotel Provider can either cancel the existing orders or increase their price. Mono.travel is not responsible for any cancellations of reservations or price changes made by the Hotel Provider.
In the (unlikely) event that the hotel, for any reason, does not have the required number and category of rooms available at the time of Booking, or in case of force majeure, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate you in an alternative hotel of a similar category and with such same type of service. In such cases, Mono.travel is not responsible for non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of a guaranteed or prepaid reservation. You also confirm that neither Mono.travel nor the Hotel Provider is responsible for any loss or damage incurred or caused to you as a result of accommodation in another hotel. All transfer and change costs are paid by your chosen hotel.

PRIVACY POLICY
Introductory
Mono.travel pays great attention to the protection of personal data of its users. Users can view the site’s pages without providing any personal data about themselves. However, in order to provide services, we need your contact details so that we can contact you and confirm your order. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties and protect their confidentiality.
We strongly urge you to read this privacy policy and our Terms and Conditions carefully. By staying and using the Mono.travel service, you confirm that you have read and understood the actual Privacy Policy, as well as accept and agree to the established procedure (including any use and non-disclosure of your personal data) of privacy described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and procedures, please refrain from using our services or visiting this Site.

Credit Card information
All clients’ payments are made via Paysera platform, which is controlled by Paysera LT UAB.Information about your credit card is not received by us. Payment is made on the web page of Paysera platform.
All transactions are saved in the User’s Profile and in our profile in the Paysera system.
During the booking process all your personal information is protected by SSL Protocol technology (protocol of data security) to ensure confidentiality of data transfers between clients and our servers.
We are not responsible for incorrect input of bank credentials and for the write-off of funds from client’s bank account due to an error.
Customer is required to immediately inform us in case of incorrect write-off (or transfer) of funds.
What information do we collect?
We collect your personal data that you provide us using our Site. Personal data may include your name, address, title and location of the selected accommodation type and/or length of stay. Also, using Mono.travel services, even if you do not make a reservation, we may collect other information, such as your IP address, your location, your nationality, selected search parameters for individual properties, which browser you used, and information about your computer’s operating system, program version, language settings, and the pages you’ve viewed. If you make a booking on a mobile device, we may also use data that identifies your mobile device, device-specific settings and characteristics, and latitude/longitude data.
Travel Companion Information
When you make a booking on behalf of someone else, we will ask for information about that person. You must obtain permission from data subjects before providing us with their personal data.
How do we use your information?
We use the personal data provided by you exclusively for the following purposes:
• Process your online bookings and provide the best quality service;
• Identify your identity;
• Research the market and improve our site in general;
• Notify the hotel about your reservation and receive confirmation;
• Provide you with selected services;
• Send you hotel confirmations and updates;
• Allow customer support to assist you as needed.
Who does Mono.travel share your information with?
• Third-party organizations – service providers: we use the services of such organizations to process your personal data on our behalf. Third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality requirements and may not use your personal data for purposes other than as directed by Mono.travel.
• Payment Service Providers and (other) Financial Institutions: If you or the credit card holder have requested a refund for your Booking, we will need to transfer some details of your booking to the payment service provider and relevant financial institution in order to process it. This may include a copy of your booking confirmation or the IP address from which you made your booking. We may share information with relevant financial organizations if we believe it is absolutely necessary to detect and prevent fraud.
• Competent authorities: We transfer personal data to law enforcement authorities to the extent required by law or strictly necessary to prevent, detect or stop criminal activity and fraud, or if we are otherwise legally required to transfer it. We may need to transfer personal data to competent authorities to protect our rights or property and the rights and property of our business partners.
In order to complete your reservation, we provide the relevant reservation data to the Hotel Provider of the selected hotel. Depending on the Booking and the Hotel Provider, such data may include your name, contact details and payment information, the names of the people you are traveling with and any wishes or additional information you have provided when making the Booking. In the event of a reservation dispute, we may provide the Hotel Provider with information about the reservation process to resolve the dispute. This may include a copy of your booking confirmation to prove that the Booking has actually been made.
Information automatically collected from your computer
We automatically collect some information about your computer when you visit this Site. For example, we collect IP address information and web browsers such as Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer. We may also collect information about your online activity, such as trips viewed and reservations made. When collecting this information, our goal is to improve the quality and efficiency of user service and prevent fraud.
How can you control the personal data you have given to Mono.travel?
The recently published General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right, upon request, to access your personal data that we have collected about you and information about how we use your personal data. You also have the right to request the deletion of your personal data by contacting Customer Service.
• If you wish to request personal data that we hold, please send us a written request to the email address below. In the subject of the email, put “Request my personal data” and make sure you include your full name, address, telephone number and a copy of your identity document (such as an ID card or passport) so that we can identify you.
• If any statement in this Policy is unacceptable to you, you have the right to request the deletion of your Personal Data (and / or other persons on whose behalf you made the booking) from our account data. To leave a request to delete your Personal Data, please send us an email to the email address and indicate “Delete my personal data” in the subject of the email.
