Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest, the Ensana Grand Margaret Island offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments. A heated underground corridor connects the hotel to the neighbouring Ensana Thermal Margaret Island, which features one of Europe's top health spas. The spa area is free of charge for guests and includes a thermal pool, a recreational pool, a 17 m long swimming pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, various types of saunas and a steam room, which guarantee that you have a pleasant time. The medical centre offers complex, personalised treatments lasting from a few days to several weeks for people suffering from joint, back, lumbar and neck pain, stress-related conditions and weight problems. The therapies are combined with the beneficial effects of thermal water from Margaret Island and medicinal mud from Hévíz. Guests can enjoy the a generous breakfast buffet set in the Széchenyi Restaurant, which offers a beautiful panoramic view and evokes the atmosphere of the heyday of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In good weather, the pleasant terrace overlooking the Nagy-rét in Margaret Island is also open for breakfast.
