This owner-run hotel stands in the centre of Vohenstrauß, near the marketplace and a 3-minute drive from the A6 motorway. It offers regional food and free internet. All rooms at the Gasthof zur Post Hotel und Parkplatz feature cable TV and showers/WC, and a complimentary bottle of mineral water is provided. All guests can use a shared balcony facing the courtyard. Traditional Bavarian food and international meals are served in the zur Post’s restaurant. Regionally beers and homemade dishes are on offer in the Bierstüberl and outside in the beer garden or in the restaurant. Guests can also order half-board, which features a 3-course menu. The Gasthof zur Post Hotel und Parkplatz offers an e-bike rental and storage space for skis and bicycles rom May to October. The Bockl-Radweg Cycle Path is nearby, and the surrounding Upper Palatinate countryside is ideal for hiking and skiing. The Czech border is just 10 minutes away by car.
