Traditional Cretan Houses,Agios Myronas, classified as protected monument, is a group of 5 traditional buildings, located in Agios Myron’s central street. The carefully restored, stone-built guest house offers year-round accommodation in fully furnished and contained apartments. With a view to the mountaintop of Psiloritis and the surrounding olive groves and vines, the Traditional Cretan Houses,Agios Myronas boast character. Modern comforts such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a TV are standard, while features also include a living room with fireplace and courtyard or balcony with spectacular views. Cretan herbs and filter or Greek coffee is provided in the units. The fully equipped apartments are self-catered, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. A tavern serving lunch and dinner dishes with local delicacies is found within short walking distance. Special prices at nearby taverns, at a distance of 500 metres, can be arranged via the owners. A stadium is found within walking distance, where guests can enjoy sports activities such as running and climbing, while personal training is also available. The area is ideal for trekking and biking. The guesthouse is 14 km south of the city of Heraklion, and 12 km from well organized beaches, such as Amoudara and Gazi.
